Suspensions

Sometimes I'll look at a painting and wonder what might be going on beyond beyond its frame, beyond the confines of its existing shape and rectangular borders.
Placing a few paintings on larger plywood panels, I extended the subjects outwardly with paint and then 'dissolved' the original borders of the paintings that created entirely new paintings.
